1. What we collect

For your application

• Name, date of birth, sex, place of birth, nationality, and religion if you provide it
• Home address, email and phone number
• Passport number, type, issue and expiry dates
• A scan of your passport bio page and a portrait photo
• Arrival date, ports of entry and exit, purpose of visit and address in Vietnam if you provide them

Payment

Payments go through PayPal. We never receive or store your card number.

Technical and analytics data

When you visit the site we collect basic technical data — IP address, browser, device and pages visited. We also store, in your browser, where you first arrived from (for example a search engine or a link) and send it with your application so we know which channels work.

We may use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to find problems in our pages and forms. Clarity runs in strict masking mode: text you type into forms is hidden before any recording is made, and uploaded documents are never recorded.

2. How we use it

• To prepare and submit your eVisa application to the Vietnam Immigration Department
• To contact you about your application and send you the approved eVisa
• To provide support
• To meet legal obligations
• To improve the website

3. Who we share it with

• Vietnam Immigration Department — your application data and documents, through the official portal, because that’s how the visa is issued.
• PayPal — to process your payment.
• Hosting and email providers — who run our website and mail.
• Crisp — our live chat. If you use the chat window, your messages and any name or email you type there are handled by Crisp so we can reply.
• Analytics providers — anonymised usage data only, never your application data.
• Authorities — if required by law.

We never sell or rent your personal information.

4. How we protect it

• Everything you send is encrypted in transit (HTTPS)
• Uploaded documents and order records are stored in folders that can’t be opened from the web
• Access is limited to the people handling your application

5. How long we keep it

• Passport scans and photos: deleted automatically 30 days after upload
• Application records: 3 years, for support and reference
• Payment records: as long as Vietnamese tax law requires

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, or withdraw consent. Email contact@evisavietnamexpress.com; we reply within 30 days. Some data can’t be deleted while an application is in progress or where the law requires us to keep it.

7. Cookies and browser storage

• Essential — needed for the site and forms to work.
• Analytics — used to see which pages work and where visitors get stuck.
• Advertising — the Meta (Facebook) Pixel records which pages you visit so we can measure our ads and show them to people who visited us. It never reads what you type into our forms or the documents you upload.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser, and you can control ad preferences in your Facebook settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you block essential cookies.

8. International transfers

We are based in Vietnam and serve travellers worldwide, so your data is processed in Vietnam and by providers in other countries. We handle transfers in line with applicable data protection law, including the GDPR for EU residents.

9. Children

Parents or legal guardians may apply on behalf of minors. We don’t knowingly collect data directly from children under 16 without that consent, and will delete it if we find we have.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page with its “last updated” date.
